Feature Roadmap

List of known Issues

Feature Wishlist

  • Turn off bluetooth completely
  • Configurable card background
  • Color blind mode for the info display

One thing I just noticed this morning: After three days of not rebooting the phone I have about 5 weather cards, two for Wednesday, two for Thursday, and one for today. I can scroll through them all by waving to the side, although the motion sensor is a bit... touchy.

I wouldn't think you'd want the cards multiplying over time.

I have the same issue with weather cards it seems to be caused by ort crashing.  via dmesg:

[149563.787436]
[149563.787436] do_page_fault(): sending SIGSEGV to ort for invalid read access from 00000004
[149563.795909] epc = 0040ca51 in ort[400000+2c000]
[149563.800640] ra  = 0040c2d9 in ort[400000+2c000]
[149563.805376]
[176665.321117]
[176665.321117] do_page_fault(): sending SIGSEGV to ort for invalid read access from 00000010
[176665.329586] epc = 004191eb in ort[400000+2c000]
[176665.334318] ra  = 00419203 in ort[400000+2c000]

Hardware touch buttons on top receive random events.

I have completed the steps in https://getoboo.com/community/topic/setting-your-oboos-time-and-date/ and date shows the right time/date, but the display is wrong.  Gesturing will cause the display to update, but the value is still wrong.

On the weather card, "precipitation" is misspelled as "percipitation"

I found all that was fixes when I re-did the uci commands I recommended initially for setting the time zone in https://getoboo.com/community/topic/first-time-setup-of-your-oboo-smart-clock-maker-edition/?part=1#postid-4

to be clear it appears to be the extraneous information that tells the system when to switch for Summer/winter times.

specifically:

America/Toronto  EST5EDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0

,M3.2.0,M11.1.0  part is bad just EST5EDT alone works

Thanks for responding.  I followed those steps initially and it "kinda" worked.  When I saw the newer post, I reverted the uci configuration to GMT and followed those instructions, which included the time zone name and "extra" stuff after EST5EDT.  Still no luck though...

@htjohnson

Have you tried this method?

Thanks for responding.  Yes, I just executed this and checked the display, which says 9:26.  Gesturing changed it to 6:53, which is close.  Still at 6:53 after a couple minutes.  Gesturing again updated it to 6:58, so maybe just an update issue?
