Related, do you plan to also have a button release message? Although I doubt Mosquitto is responsive enough to make that a good idea.

The hardware we are using for touch detection does not support release event. However we are able to detect multi touch, it is something we plan to implement down the road. The random presses may be due to the touch panel being overly sensitive. It is something we will look into when fine tuning the input sensors.

ok, weirdly it works well with a stylus pen but not with my actual human finger.

Same for me. The buttons have always been a unreliable for me though.
