I would suggest to use the same colour and button order for the sensor buttons on all offical cards.

Currently we have

Time:

1. red (stop)
2. green (play)
3. blue (minus)
4. turquoise (plus)

Media:

1. green (play)
2. red (stop)
3. yellow (minus)
4. blue (plus)

I don't have any preferences for the order or the colours but it would be nice if the order is always identical for example play is always the 1st button and also to always have the same colour e.g. down/minus always blue and not blue for minus on one card and blue for plus on another card.

Also how about dimming the buttons after like 10 seconds of inactivity and no proximity contact? And then after like 20 seconds turn them off.
They are really bright and easy to use but after a while they get annoying (on the desk).

I think I get something similar. I was looking for my kids mobile for about half an hour to locate the source of the beeps but there was none, the only electronic device in the room was my Oboo. However I haven't been able to reliable reproduce this. I have had it twice since last weekend.

Just to clarify, this also happens without any button presses

1. turn the clock off overnight, disconnect the power
2. turn it on the next day and don't touch any buttons
3. wave to it until the media card is on the screen (don't push any buttons)
4. wait like 15 minutes and you hear the first beep
5. after that they get a loot more frequent still random but sometimes two a minute, sometimes every 5 minutes

Yes understood. So what happened in your case is this. The current touch bar settings makes it overly sensitive. Under certain conditions the touch bar will register false button presses. When you leave the Oboo at the music card, random (false) button press may trigger volume up events and when this happens enough times the Oboo's volume will be at it's maximum. Any addition (false) button presses on the volume up button will then result with a beeping sound.

The good news is we can fix this with software update. The team is currently trying to optimize the sensitivity settings.

 

A quick workaround for the moment is to leave your oboo at the weather card when not interacting with it.
